We pride ourselves on owning and offering for service our outstanding stallions. Their bloodlines ,conformation and genetic make up are second to none. As a courtsey on behalf of our stallions we never charge mare care unless special services are requested . We are a small ranch located off of Lake Texana about 85 miles SW of Houston, Texas. We are family owned and operated by Jerry and Kimberly Blackmon. Jerry and Kimberly between themselves have over 30+ years experience with horses and cattle. Here at the J - B Ranch our goal is to produce strong quality livestock. We have an eye on the future, a focus on today, and an appreciation for the traditions and the past history of proven foundation quarter horse lines. We do believe in the close up line breeding of many of the foundation operations, and, try to mix that proven foundation breeding with the performance horse lines of today. Our goal is to raise horses that are quite, willing, and easy to train. We are also committed to continue providing our clients with the excellent service and business integrity that has made us so successful in our past endeavors. J - B Ranch is in the business of raising and selling purebred Beefmasters.We breed and select for the Six Essentials. Our Beefmasters must be able to maintain their weight on range grazing.
