We want to thank Lisa Thompson at the T3 Quarter horse Ranch in Missouri www.t3quarterhorse.com for allowing us to make Huck part of our stock. Huck is a beautiful grullo stallion. He is homozygous(EE)black gene so he can not produce red based foals regardles of the color of his mate. He is 100% color producer and WFQHA/ NFQHA 94% FQHA 96.88% HERDA tested N/N. 1998 Buckskin/Dun Stallion
Poco is AQHA and FQHA Buckskin /Dunn stallion which is the legendary Poco Bueno's great grandson. Poco has the homozygous (EE) black gene so he will not produce a sorrel, chestnut or palomino. He is a 100% color producer and 94% foundation bloodline. HERDA tested N/N also Poco is NOT a descendent of the Impressive bloodline. His conformation and disposition are second to none standing just under 15.3 hands and weighing a well-balanced 1,250 pounds. Bravos Bay is a 16 yr old proven bay stallion. He has been siring foals in west Texas for the past 12 yrs. He has over 96 aqha registered foals. This is just proof of the demand for his offspring from those who really use their horses. You can find them all over on texas ranches and in the arena performing. He produces good minded, strong bodied foals with a willingness to learn. His line of broodmares are some of the best you will ever find. Bravos goes back to Buck Dodger, Pretty Buck, Doc Bar ,War Leo all on his certificate of registration. He is one of the few original stallions left that help build the AQHA . We are a small ranch located off of Lake Texana about 85 miles SW of Houston, Texas. We are family owned and operated by Jerry and Kimberly Blackmon. Jerry and Kimberly between themselves have over 30+ years experience with horses and cattle. Here at the J - B Ranch our goal is to produce strong quality livestock.
We have an eye on the future, a focus on today, and an appreciation for the traditions and the past history of proven foundation quarter horse lines. We do believe in the close up line breeding of many of the foundation operations, and, try to mix that proven foundation breeding with the performance horse lines of today.

Our Beefmasters must be able to maintain their weight on range grazing. Our heifers and bull calves need to have the six essentials at 14 months of age in order to enter our breeding program.
